Peninsula Support Services Inc (PSS) is a Psychiatric Disability Rehabilitation Support Service (PDRSS) committed to providing quality programs, support and services for people with a mental illness, their families and carers. Founded in 1988, PSS is a non-profit and registered charitable organisation that has developed and grown to become an ISO Accredited Organisation. 
 
Services offered are designed to provide a safe, supportive and encouraging environment that recognises the rights and responsibilities of clients and our vision “People living with, or affected by, mental health issues enjoying a full and independent life” 
 
Our mission is to provide support and services to help people maximise their potential through responding to client and carer needs and fostering independent living skills.
 
Our program services include:

• Individual Support e.g. Home Based Outreach, Intensive Outreach and Complex Care Programs
• Skills for Life - Transitional Housing
• Rehabilitation Day Programs – Skills based, social recreation, personal development, health & wellbeing, social/peer support and gender specific groups.                         (Go to our WEEKLY GROUP TIMETABLE to see all of our groups)
• Home and Community Care (HACC) programs supporting people over the age of 65
• Specific programs to residents of all ages living in Supported Residential Services
• Duty service providing working hours information, referral and support service. Referrals may come from yourself, families, friends, clinics, general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists or  community support agencies etc. (See our BROCHURE for more information)
