About Us

The Peninsula Mental Health Alliance is a Department of Human Services project designed to strengthen organisational alliances and working relationships between area mental health services and psychiatric disability and rehabilitation services . There is a Memorandum of Understanding and an Action Plan that describes this collaboration. The services that are part of this Alliance are:

  1. Peninsula Mental Health Services
  2. Peninsula Drug and Alcohol Program (PenDAP)
  3. Peninsula Support Services Inc
  4. Mental illness fellowship Victoria
  5. MIND
  6. IMPACT support service
  7. Headspace

These services on the Mornington Peninsula are a pre-existing network of services that have worked together closely for years. This close collaboration between services has the common goal of a cohesive recovery and rehabilitation service system underpinned by a shared ideology that provides the basis for an equitable service for all clients evidenced through-

  1. Common rehabilitation and recovery plans
  2. Coordinated discharge planning
  3. Meaningful input from carers and consumers
  4. Continual development of the service alliance.
